This explains what we collect when you book or contact us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number
- The address where the party is taking place
- Your date, time slot, guest count and package
- Allergies or dietary needs you choose to tell us
- Anything else you write in the booking form or send us by email or chat
Why we collect it
To quote, confirm and run your party, and to reach you about that booking. Dietary information goes to your chef so they can cook safely for your guests.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone outside the people needed to run your booking — your chef, and our payment provider. We do not add you to a mailing list from a booking; the newsletter is separate and opt-in.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored on this website.
The chat window
The chat on this site answers from a fixed list of questions and replies. What you type stays in your own browser for the session and is not sent to a server.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax. Enquiries that never become bookings are deleted within twelve months.
Your choices
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@unclehibachi.com and we will action it.
Newsletter emails carry an unsubscribe link in every message.
